just 35 km north of Sefako Makgatho Drive, N1 Hammanskraal off-ramp

The Dinokeng Game Reserve is the only free roaming Big5 Reserve in Gauteng. Entering the game reserve you acknowledge that you are well acquainted with and fully aware of the real dangers and risks arising from the presence of wild and dangerous animals. reptiles, birds and insects and the real risk of bodily harm, injury, death and/or damage to property which may arise as a result of an encounter with the aforementioned creatures.

It is strictly forbidden to leave your vehicle, but in designated areas.

The game reserve charges a conservation fee of 75– R per person per day. (Subject to change without prior notice)

Opening Hours

Dinner
Join us for our multi-course culinary dinner journey. We regularly offer themed dinners mainly on Fridays and Saturdays.
The restaurant opens at 18:00, set seating time is 18:30.

Cheese Tasting  |  Cheese & Wine Pairing
Tuesdays to Fridays:
9:30 – 11:30   |   12:00 – 14:00   |   14:30 – 16:30
Pre-booking only – minimum of 24 hrs lead time.
Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays:
14:30 – 16:30

Wine Tastings, Chocolate & Wine Pairing, and other special events upon individual announcement.

Lunch Arrangements
can be made for corporate functions and small groups up to 20 guests

Important to Know

Kindly notify us of any allergies or dietary requirements you may have.
Please note that onion, garlic and salt forms the base of our food preparations.

We are a non-smoking establishment.

We are happy to entertain guests as of the age of 16.
Please note that we do not allow animals in our restaurant.

Please be considerate to other guests when using mobile devices.

We are not a walk-in establishment, so bookings are essential.
To secure your booking a 50% deposit is required (non-refundable, but credited against the final bill).
